May 23rd


The Cemetery Clean-up will be on Thursday May 27th, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Please come as early as you can, as dinner may be served earlier than usual.
Saturday, June 5th will be a neighborhood service project, combined with the 8th ward.  Block leaders have been assigned and will have more details later.
Our next RS Activity will be June 9th, at 7:00 pm in Carmen Sorenson’s back yard.  We will be sharing and sampling summer salad and homemade ice cream recipes.

April 25


Stake Footsol will be this Thursday at 9:00 at the Stake Center.  Brenda Lowry will have a schedule soon.
The Ogden Cannery is doing Chicken Chunks during the month of May.  The days you can go are May 11,12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27.  Please take a handout for all details.
Mother’s Day wlll be our Visiting Teaching Conference.  We look forward to meeting with the YW and Primary Teachers.

The Church is looking for sisters to serve as part-time Church-service missionaries in the Relief Society Building located on Temple Square.  The conditions are:
• Exemplify happiness and joy as a church member.
• Be temple worthy
• Be in good health.
• Graciously greet visitors, dealing with the public.
• Be committed and dependable, serving at least 4 hrs/wk
• Able to commit to a three year mission call.

The annual BYU Women’s Conference will be April 29th & 30th.  The theme is “Choose Ye This Day to Serve the Lord.”  For more information and registration go to: http://ce.byu.edu/cw/womensconference/

The rescheduled RS Actitivity (formerly known as Enrichment) will be Tuesday, April 20th at 6:30 pm.  We’ll be learning the right way to prune trees.  Charles Wheeler will be teaching us.  We’re combining with the 8th Ward Relief Society so we’ll meet at Jan Hale’s yard (1150 E. Canyon Road).  Then we’ll walk through the neighborhood seeing different types of trees be pruned.  (Cool, huh!)  Bring your own lawn chair if you’d like to sit down.

The Relief Society birthday party is this Wednesday, March 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. The theme is “Spice up the seasons of your life”.  Dinner will be served and nursery will be provided.  Come have a great time and wonderful food.

Jan 17th

Ward Conference will be February 14th.

The Primary talent show will be on Saturday, the 23rd of this month.
